Age of Wonders 4 evolves Triumph Studios’ 4X strategy game series, placing more emphasis on faction customization. The title was announced alongside a chunky gameplay showcase and, if it happens to have caught your eye, you’re likely curious if it’ll be available on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in 2023.
Age of Wonders 4’s presence on PC Game Pass would make it easier for anyone who might be on the fence to try out the title without committing to a traditional purchase. In addition, it’s a great way to potentially convert players who aren’t part of the game’s target demographic into fans.
Age of Wonders 4 Xbox Game Pass
Unfortunately, no signs currently point towards Age of Wonders 4 becoming available on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart when it launches in 2023.
The pre-release marketing campaign hasn’t mentioned Microsoft’s popular subscription service, which makes us believe that we’ll have to rely on straight-up purchasing the game if we plan on playing it as soon as it releases.
- Age of Wonders 4 Xbox/PC Game Pass support: Unconfirmed, likely not available at launch
While that might be disappointing news to some, all hope is not lost. The subscription service regularly refreshes its sizeable list of games. As old ones leave, new ones join.
This, of course, means that Age of Wonders 4 could end up making its way to PC Game Pass at some point further down the line.
Although we cannot say for sure when or if that might happen, we’ll update this article as soon as there’s anything new to report.
