The next Alien game may have been revealed. It's not Alien Isolation 2, but instead it could be going by the title of Alien Blackout - and it's very likely that it will be revealed at the Game Awards next week, on December 6th.
The sequel to the fantastic Alien Isolation has been teased a lot recently, especially in connection with the Game Awards, but this is the first we've heard of the title Alien Blackout.
The leaked title comes from a trademark filed by Alien franchise owners 20th Century Fox just a few days ago, on November 22nd. And before you start thinking it could be for a new movie, the trademark is specifically for videogames, in physical and digital.
As for the Game Awards, other than the timing of the filing this comes shortly after Geoff Keighley promised that "worlds will change" on December 6th, the date of the Game Awards. His mysterious tweet was accompanied by a graphic of that phrase, which not only looks similar to the Alien universe's Weyland-Yutani motto ("Building Better Worlds"), the graphic is very 1970s, putting it in the same style as the original Alien movie - and of course, Alien Isolation.
