Aliens: Fireteam Elite has only been out for a short while, pitting a small squad of Colonial Marines against countless Xenomorphs, and more content is already on the way. Season 1’s release date is not that far off, it turns out, bringing with it a new class, alongside the first Endeavor Pass DLC, and more
Available for free to all players as soon as September 8, Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Season 1 introduces the Phalanx as its sixth playable class. No details on how it will play or what weapons it might favor, but it’s safe to say that a new loadout this close after launch is going to help prolong the life of the game.

When its release date comes around, Aliens: Fireteam Elite’s Season 1 will also bring more weapons for players to use against the Xenos alongside new cosmetic items, both obtainable by simply playing the game.
Season 1 will also be accompanied by the first DLC of the game’s Endeavor Pass. Owners of the game’s Deluxe Edition will receive it – and three future DLC packs – at no additional cost. It costs $9.99 or your regional equivalent and includes “an assortment of outfits, head accessories, weapon decals, weapon colors, emotes, and more.” More details will likely be shared closer to release.
In our review we found that Aliens: Fireteam Elite is “a game that clearly knows what it wants to be,” focusing on intense battles and satisfying gunplay to compensate for its shortcomings.
