Sometimes, it feels like Amplitude Studios can't help but keep trying to one-up themselves, one successful release after another. This is why, come August, we'll have the chance to play Endless Legend: Inferno and Endless Space 2: Supremacy. Both slated for release at the same time, no less!
Both of these expansions have been in development under the wraps for months now, with nary a hint at what's being done dropped by Amplitude. The situation has come to a head today, though, with their simultaneous announcement, the release of trailers - and a final release date.
Endless Space 2: Supremacy brings with it an avian race of samurai, the Hisso, the introduction of a new class of ships (the Behemoth and more, while Endless Legend: Inferno focuses on the Kapaku - a race of magi-tek builders, brings new biomes and events, and lots more to boot.
Again, both of the expansions will be released at the same time, on 2nd of August (which is next week) and will be priced at $13. As a special deal for those of you who enjoy both of the Endless 4X games, you'll have the chance to buy a bundle containing both of the expansions at a reduced price.
Down below you'll find the announcement trailers for Endless Legend: Inferno and Endless Space 2: Supremacy, which give a bit of information on their respective races and hint at some of the upcoming content as well. Not that we'll have to wait long...
