Medieval strategy game Ancestors Legacy just got a lot more customizable with today’s introduction of mod support. A long-awaited feature, it will allow players to bring forth their own more or less bloody creations to the field of battle.
Developer Destructive Creations and publisher 1C Entertainment have stated that they’re “not done and plan to keep on improving Mod Support”. To that extent, they’re labeling its current iteration as beta.
Ancestors Legacy Mod Support
Ancestors Legacy’s mod support allows for tinkering with quite a few of the game’s elements. They are as follows:
- Maps
- Characters
- Animations
- Game balance
- Modifying nations
- Audio
- Buildings
- And much more
From the sound of it, that gives plenty of opportunities to tweak, modify and turn things on their heads. If you’re eager to jump in and mod things yourself, this workshop guide could prove handy. Otherwise, keeping an eye on the game’s Steam Workshop page would be a good idea.
