Publisher and developer AurumDust today unveiled a new gameplay trailer for upcoming deck building turn-based strategy game Ash of Gods: The Way.
Ash of Gods: The Way’s gameplay trailer shows off its turn-based battles, card upgrading system, narrative choices, and more, giving us a good look at the second game set in the Terminus universe.
Ash of Gods: The Way Gameplay Trailer
The game follows Finn, the one person capable of preventing the Frisians from invading to his country of Berkana. To do so, he must master a card game used to teach Frisian aristocrats the art of warfare and infiltrate their tournaments.
Ash of Gods: The Way blends turn-based strategy and deck building elements while also asking players to take difficult choices as their journey progresses.
Battles have different rules or special features that put your skills to the test but can also be exploited to secure victory.
You can build your deck using a combination of character and support cards belonging to four different factions.
Where the former take to the battlefield, the latter boost their abilities or allow you to complement them by casting powerful spells.
You can grow your card collection by winning battles, purchasing them, or completing certain special tasks.
Ash of Gods: The Way is headed to PC, via Steam, on April 27, when it will become available for the price of for $24.99/€24.99/£20.99 and a launch discount of 10%.
A prologue is already available, giving us an early taste of what’s to come later this month.
