Hours before May’s PlayStation Showcase, Gematsu reported that Japanese retailers have begun listing October 12 as Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s release date.
According to the website, Japanese retailers do not use placeholder dates, which could suggest that we’ll learn more about the game soon.
The date was later revealed to be accurate. We’ll see classic Assassin’s Creed returning this October, which is exciting for anyone who’s looking for a change of pace from the series’ recent sprawling RPGs.
Set in 9th-century Baghdad, the game tells the story of Basim and how his time with the Hidden Ones has turned him into a Master Assassin.
