Will Assassin’s Creed Mirage debut on Steam? Recently, there’s been a trend of PC games launching exclusively on the Epic Games Store, bypassing Steam for extended periods. It appears that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will follow this pattern.
Ubisoft has struck a deal with Epic Games to launch a majority of its game catalog on the Epic Games Store. While this arrangement is a timed exclusive, it means that while these games will eventually arrive on Steam, the wait can be extensive - often spanning years rather than just months.
Is Assassin’s Creed Mirage going to be released on Steam?
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not be available on Steam when it launches on the 5th of October, you will only be able to find the PC version on Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Games Store.
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not be available on Steam
Players are required to create a Ubisoft Connect account to play the game on the Epic Games Store. Should the game later become available on Steam or any other digital PC platform, the Ubisoft Connect account requirement will remain in place.
We anticipate that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will make its way to Steam eventually, though the wait might extend beyond a year. Should Ubisoft announce any details about a Steam release, we’ll be sure to keep watch and let you know.
