As Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s launch drew near, some of the players who had bought the game were treated to a nasty surprise that saw the title not appearing in their library.
The AC Valhalla not in library issue was especially egregious if you wanted to download the game ahead of release and start Eivor’s journey as early as possible.
For a while, players were left wondering if there was any potential fix they could try to get around the issue. Publisher and developer Ubisoft soon confirmed that it was all related to delays when processing orders on the Ubisoft Store.

This also meant that players couldn’t attempt any fix for AC Valhalla not appearing in their library and simply had to wait.
As the use of the past tense in this guide suggests, Ubisoft has since confirmed that it has fixed the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla not in library issue, which seemingly only affected digital copies.
If you haven’t bought the game yet, you should hopefully have no trouble installing it immediately after purchase.
