The Rygjafylke Treasure Hoard map is one of the first you can get your Viking hands on in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
You can pick it up from a small red house close to where you step on the shore before heading into Kjotve’s Fortress.

The AC Valhalla Rygjafylke Treasure Hoard map waits inside, on a table next to cheese, bread, and a set of stacked plates.
Inspecting it reveals the following text: “Hunters of silver-glory! East of Alrekstad, the hoard will look upon you from Torghatten Rock’s eye. Engage its gaze and reap this reward.”
Trusting what the Rygjafylke Treasure Hoard map tells you, however, sends you on a wild goose chase. You’re actually looking for the big island that’s west of Alrekstad in the Hordafylke region.
The area you’re looking for is found below the island’s fast travel point. Navigating through the rocks will eventually reveal a large opening.
Inside, you can find skeletons that you can loot to obtain an Opal and various goodies. Under a pile of branches, you’ll also find the Snakebite Scheme which you can apply to your longship.
