Back 4 Blood aims to sate our appetite for co-op, first-person zombie slaying when it launches later this year, filling the void left by a lack of entries in the Left 4 Dead series. Tapping into a similar vibe but also adding new gameplay aspects to the tried and true recipe has attracted a fair share of attention and hype towards the title, which is why some are wondering whether or not it will be coming to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in 2021.
Co-op is where Back 4 Blood shines and a larger pool of players from which to pick, prior to sending hundreds of zombies back to their graves, is enough of a reason for why the game should come to Xbox Game Pass in the eyes of many players. Ease of access is another, as the subscription service lets you play a variety of releases without purchasing them individually.
It’s good news, then, that Back 4 Blood is coming to Xbox Game Pass and its PC counterpart in 2021. It’s also not some mystery period later in the year – players on both PC and console will have access to it via Microsoft’s subscription service on day one.
This essentially means that if you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass or its PC variant, you won’t need to purchase the game separately to experience its take on zombie slaying that spices up the usual running and gunning with a card system that adds an extra layer of customization.
Back 4 Blood is currently slated to release on October 14 on both PC and consoles but players can try it out as soon as next month, thanks to its two upcoming beta tests. Better yet, crossplay is another confirmed feature for launch.
