Developer Pathos Interactive has deployed Bannermen Patch 1.1.0, bringing a welcome serving of new content to its medieval RTS.
Two new units count among the additions, in the shape of the Bannermen Vanguard and Bannermen Ballista, expanding the game’s existing roster.

Where the Bannermen Vanguard is described as “a semi-armored melee unit with an impressive attack range and even more impressive defensive abilities”, fielding the Bannermen Ballista gives your army a range advantage. Not only that, but the unit has an ability allowing it to fire an arrow with a chain at an enemy, pulling it closer so that your other troops can thin out enemy troops before engaging their bulk.
A new skirmish map, designed for 2v2 matches but also suitable for 1v1, was added in the Bannermen Patch 1.1.0, as was the tactical pause option. The latter was one of the features often requested by the community.
The final set of Bannermen Patch 1.1.0 additions see in-game chat introduced, alongside a third difficulty level that caters to casual players looking to get into the game. As with previous patches, Bannermen has also received a number of bug fixes.
