The Tribe War is an important part of Biomutant, counting as one of its main quests. The initial choice between Jagni or Myriad might suggest that you have a limited set of choices but, you can actually pick one of four other tribes, like the Ankati, provided you discover the location of their fortress.
Your search for the Ankati Tribe location will take you to Biomutant’s Deadzone, which is where you get the Mekton. It’s a bit of a strange choice, especially how the tribe itself is light-aligned, but that’s where you need to go in order to find their fortress.
Like others in Biomutant, the Ankati Tribe location is marked on the map by a wooden coin with a green symbol of a creature that resembles a lion.
The settlement of Hubbledun is the closest fast travel point but, alternatively, the Mekton Dockstation near the Citiscenario is also close by. For the purpose of this guide, we’ll cover the path from Hubbledun.
As soon as you arrive at the settlement’s fast travel point, you’ll notice a destroyed skyscraper to the left. That’s where you need to go. Move forward through the village, then take a left and use the wooden bridge to get to the portion of land with the skyscraper itself.
Go left and follow the path as you climb up. When it intersects with another path, take another left and you’ll soon spot a wooden gate, you guessed it, on the left. That’s the entrance to the Ankati Tribe location. Like with all other fortresses, there’s also a fast travel point nearby, so be sure to mark it.
If you’re looking to change allegiance or pick the Ankati as your allied tribe, all you need to do is head inside and talk to their Sifu. Their special weapon is a bow, which might give you an extra reason to work together, in case you favor a ranged playstyle.
