Publisher THQ Nordic today announced that open-world RPG Biomutant has locked down its release date to May 25. The news comes after a period of silence that left fans wondering about the state of the project.
Biomutant stands out thanks to its promise of a “martial arts style combat system” that emphasizes a high level of freedom of movement while using ranged and melee attacks. Players can also mutate their characters to change the way they look and play while gaining new powers in the process.
Alongside Biomutant’s release date, publisher THQ Nordic also shared details about the game’s two Collector’s Editions. Priced at € 399.99/$ 399.99/£ 349.99, the Atomic Edition includes the following items:
- High Detail Diorama - 60cm/23" long, 25cm/10" width, 30cm/12" height
- Game Biomutant
- Steelbook
- T-Shirt in L/XL
- Oversized Mousepad 80cm/31" x 35cm/14"
- The artwork on Fabric A1 size
- Soundtrack
- Premium Box
The Collector’s Edition is a cheaper option for fans looking to get their hands on (fewer) Biomutant physical goodies:
- Game Biomutant
- Game hero figurine
- The artwork on Fabric A1 size
- Soundtrack
- Premium Box
More information about Biomutant will be shared “in the next weeks and months.” Biomutant is slated to release on May 25 and is headed to PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
