Diablo 3’s Season 33 brings, between its start and end dates, the final content refresh that Blizzard’s long-running hack and slash RPG is expected to receive in 2024.
Even with the development of new features coming to a halt, following the launch of Diablo 4, we should have plenty of demon slaying and loot chasing to keep us busy between Diablo 3’s Season 33 start and end dates.
Diablo 3 Season 33 Release Date
Diablo 3 seasons usually last for around three months. They normally kick off on Fridays and conclude on Sundays, although we have had exceptions to this rule in the past.
Based on what we know so far, we currently expect Diablo 3’s Season 33 start date to occur between October 2024 and November 2024, when Season 32 comes to a close on the 20th October.
- Diablo 3 Season 33 start date: 25th October, 2024
- Diablo 3 Season 33 end date: Between January 2025 and February 2025 (GameWatcher estimation)
Although its end date hasn’t been officially revealed, we’re willing to bet that the season will last until at least January or February 2025, making our holidays considerably more eventful.
Diablo 3 Season 33 Theme
Diablo 3’s Season 33 theme brings back the shadow clones from Season 22, also known as Shades of the Nephalem.
Activating a shrine or pylon spawns in a shadow clone of your current class. Clones stick around for a whole minute, randomly choosing one of three predetermined builds. Their power scales with your character’s.
Kanai’s Cube is also getting a fourth slot with access to the same choices as the other three. While its effects do not stack with other similar effects, it does provide additional flexibility when building characters.
Diablo 3 Season 33 Cosmetic Rewards
In terms of cosmetic rewards, we can obtain the chest and gloves slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set alongside the Pandemonium portrait and Rocky pet first introduced in Season 9.
Completing the Season Journey in its entirety grants the Stupendous Contraption pet and the Industrial Portrait Frame.
