Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has finally been released on 12th of October, and it's no surprise to see tens of thousands of active players playing the game at any given moment. As any game, though, Black Ops 4 has got its own special share of problems, and crashes seem to be rather prevalent in this regard.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has already received its first title update, which includes an abundance of tweaks, fixes, and balance passes, but a particular PC-specific crash has seemingly gone under the developer's radar so far: Call of Duty Black Ops 4 897625509 Error Code.
Error 8791742004717 won't be anything new to any person who's spent some years gaming on PC. The first symptom of this error is that the screen turns black, though the game's audio keeps playing for a while yet. Soon, however, the audio begins to loop, and then Black Ops 4 crashes with the aforementioned error code gracing the screen.
This crash has only occurred in Black Ops 4 multiplayer so far, though completely at random, and with Blackout and Zombies seemingly having avoided the error. The latest update has apparently done nothing to alleviate the issue, and there's no way for you to take things into your own hands either, as there's no fix known yet. Hopefully, Treyarch will be on top of this soon enough!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is currently available for sale on the game's official website, but not on Steam, and it's going to set you back $59,99, as per usual.
