Boundary, the zero-g first-person shooter from publisher Huya and developer Studio Surgical Scalpels, now has a Steam page ahead of its launch later this year.
In Boundary, players step into the shoes of an Astroperator, taking part in 5v5 and 3v3 multiplayer battles set in zero-gravity environments. Using their customizable EMU suits, players benefit from full 6 degrees of movement that open up new tactical possibilities.
At launch, Boundary will feature 8 multiplayer maps and 4 modes – Team Deathmatch, Facility capture, Orbital purge and Skirmish.
Boundary Zero-G Multiplayer Tactical FPS Headed to PC
Players will be able to choose between Boundary’s six playable classes and customize their arsenals with the likes of armor penetrating rounds and electromagnetic pulse rounds.
Where the former easily pierce the opponents’ space suits, the latter scramble their equipment.
The trailer below also reveals a few different weapons onto which players can slap different scopes, grips, barrels and other attachments, as they chase the perfect loadout for the job.
Another interesting addition is the grappling hook that can be used to pull yourself towards distant objects and other players.
Boundary is set to launch simultaneously on PC and PS4 later this year. You can follow and wishlist it on Steam.
