Call of Duty: Warzone is officially on its way offering a bigger and also free-to-play battle royale experience than last year’s Blackout. But will free-to-play users be limited by a level cap and is there a maximum level?
Here’s everything we know about Call of Duty: Warzone’s level cap and what its maximum level is.
Call of Duty: Warzone Level Cap
In the post announcing Call of Duty: Warzone, publisher Activision tackled the subject of level caps quite clearly. “There are no level caps in Warzone. Jump in.”, it said.
This means that free-to-play users won’t be limited by a level cap and will be able to play as much as they want. This alongside the title’s crossplay support show that Call of Duty: Warzone tries to be as unrestrictive as possible, welcoming as many players as it can.
While there are no signs of a traditional character level system and a maximum level at the moment, Call of Duty: Warzone will feature a 100-tier Battle Pass which players will progress through as they play, unlocking new items.
Call of Duty: Warzone is due out on March 10 and is headed to PC, Xbox One and PS4.
