Some players are reporting that they can join a lobby and go through the countdown before the match, but Call of Duty: Warzone then gets stuck on the loading screen just prior to starting the match proper.
The reason why Call of Duty: Warzone gets stuck on the loading screen has yet to be tracked down and neither publisher Activision nor developer Infinity Ward has come forth with a potential fix.
A user posting in a thread on the Activision support site claims to have bypassed Call of Duty: Warzone getting stuck on the loading screen using a relatively simple method.
They did so by changing the setcl -1836731280 “1” line to setcl -1836731280 “12” in all three config files found in the game’s player folder. It’s worth noting, however, that this isn’t an official fix and that only one other player claims that changing the value solved the issue.
