Chivalry 2 has now launched, which means that players can do lots of stabbing and bludgeoning, hopefully to the enemy team rather than their own. Some will tell you that its brand of medieval first-person combat is best enjoyed alongside friends, which is where the max party size becomes an important point of discussion.
Chivalry 2’s max party size limits the number of friends you can team up with prior to joining matches, and a part of the game’s community finds the current number a tad restrictive.
Chivalry 2 Max Party Size Limit
The current Chivalry 2 max party size limit is 4. This means that, from the main menu, you can invite up to three other friends to join you and more or less guarantee that you’ll all play on the server of your choice.
This doesn’t stop you from playing alongside or against more of your buddies, you’ll have to gamble for a spot on that server, rather than conveniently head there as a party.
If 4 is a bit of a low number, the good news is that increased party size limits are part of the Chivalry 2 roadmap, albeit without a timeframe on when they might go live. Similarly, cross-platform parties aren’t available at launch, but the developer is looking into adding them.
