Chivalry 2’s launch day player count impressed developer Torn Banner Studios and the game’s popularity is clearly reflected in its full, active lobbies. But even with its success, an Xbox Game Pass version could potentially bring more players into the fray and give them a taste of the title’s chaotic brand of medieval warfare.
Xbox Game Pass now stretches across both Microsoft’s console and PC, proving a cheaper way to get access to a fairly impressive library of games. On top of that, it also lets players try out more niche titles, like Chivalry 2, without paying the full purchase price.
Will Chivalry 2 release on Game Pass?
Unfortunately, Chivalry 2 did not become available on Xbox Game Pass, or its PC counterpart, on launch day and remains a game that players will need to purchase separately.
An Epic Games Store exclusive on PC, the topic of it potentially making its way to the Xbox Game Pass wasn’t addressed just yet. While this might be less than ideal for fans of the subscription service, it doesn’t mean that we won’t see it available there at some point in the future.
New games are added to Microsoft’s subscription service on a weekly basis and the developer has never completely ruled out the possibility of Chivalry 2 making its way to it. We’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed and be patient until an official announcement.
