Choo-Choo Charles’ release date has been set for 9th December 2022, indie developer Two Star Games has revealed.
This short open-world survival horror will be released for the PC via Steam, with Two Star Games telling us it should take between 3-5 hours to complete, but couldn’t reveal a price just yet.
Choo-Choo Charles Release Date Set
Charles is described as a violent, terrifying spider train that’s going to chase you around the open-world island, but players have an old train of their own to control, which can be upgraded using scraps found around the map to boost your armour and amass enough weapons to take Charles down.
Two Star Games released a fresh gameplay trailer today, which gave us our first peek at how the main protagonist will interact with NPC characters in the game, how you can upgrade your train and move about the island, and of course, Charles was there constantly pursuing your every move.
It appears that Choo-Choo Charles is inspired by Beryl Evans’ (fictional author) Charlie the Choo-Choo short tale, which first appeared in The Dark Tower 3: The Waste Lands novel by Stephen King.
There’s no word on other platforms at the moment, or if this will be available on services like Xbox Game Pass, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more in the run-up to its release on the 9th December.
