Cities: Skylines 2 offers a vast playground for modding and, if you’ve dabbled in user-made creations in its predecessors, chances are you want to know if the Harmony mod will be released for the sequel.
Harmony is the name not for a traditional mod, but for a patching library created by Andreas Pardeike that is used by many other Cities: Skylines mods.

It’s quite popular too, receiving millions of subscribers due to how useful it’s proven to other modders.
Unfortunately, it’s currently unclear if Cities: Skylines II will benefit from Harmony mod support. While the sequel is expected to receive mods, there aren’t too many details shared about them via official channels.
The popular library itself is in a similar situation. There’s a good chance that we’ll learn more about it in the lead-up to or sometime after launch.

It’s difficult to tell if things are being kept under wraps due to NDAs or if support might not be planned but, nonetheless, all we can do is be patient and wait for the sequel’s impending launch.
