Developer Colossal Order today shared more details about Cities: Skylines 2’s upcoming region pack, patch, and creator packs, giving us a broad outline of when we can expect them to go live.
Firstly, the newest Region Pack focuses on the United Kingdom, promising a “collection of community-created assets inspired by the local architecture and landscapes of Great Britain.” Better yet, it is available now over on the Paradox Mods platform.
Cities: Skylines 2 New Patch, Region, and Creator Pack Details
Tomorrow, Cities: Skylines II is getting another bug fixing patch. Although small, it introduces a series of gameplay fixes, UI improvements, and more.
The developer plans to share the full patch notes when the patch becomes available on November 26 at 9 AM GMT/1 AM PT/4 AM ET.
In addition, more details about the Urban Promenades & Modern Architecture Creator Packs alongside and the Soft Rock Radio DLC will be shared “shortly,” when the developer plans to discuss their content, the creators behind them, and their release date.
Owners of Cities: Skylines II’s Ultimate Edition will be happy to learn that the other three Creator Packs and Radio Stations included in the Waterfronts Expansion Pass “are in the pipeline.”
Although we won’t get them in 2024, they are currently in the “last implementation stages and will be ready for release early next year,” the developer explained in a Steam post.
Today, we also learned that development on the troubled sequel’s console version continues, although not without issue. It was delayed indefinitely back in July.
