Cyberpunk 2077 comfortably sits at the forefront of integrating the latest technologies that help players have the best performance, so it’s only natural to ask when AMD FSR 3 support might be coming.
AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3.0 is the graphics card manufacturer’s own take on upscaling technology that can be used to vastly improve in-game performance. As opposed to Nvidia’s DLSS, it is an open-source technology that works on newer graphics cards from both manufacturers.
Cyberpunk 2077 AMD FSR 3 Support
Although Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t find itself among the first two games to include AMD FSR 3 support – that honor went to Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum –, CD Projekt Red is currently looking into bringing the technology to its RPG.
This is confirmed on AMD’s own website although, at this point in time, there’s no exact date for when owners of the game might get to use the tech to boost their performance.

It’s also hard to pinpoint when exactly this might happen without an official announcement. CD Projekt Red generally shares details about its updates relatively close to launch.
It will, hopefully, won’t be too long before we can reap the benefits of AMD FSR 3 support in Cyberpunk 2077.
Its addition would be perfect for anyone jumping back in or experiencing the game for the first time as result of the launch of its first and only expansion, Phantom Liberty.
That is what we know so far about when AMD FSR 3 support is coming to Cyberpunk 2077. For more on the game, check out the best mods currently available.
