Cyberpunk 2077 isn't the only major game that CD Projekt RED, the Developers of Witcher 3, currently have undergoing active development, according to the latest word. Also mentioned was a vague release date for both games!
Unannounced AAA CD Projekt RED game got a quick reference in a Polish gaming magazine, where CDPR mentioned the fact that they're working on another project aside from Cyberpunk 2077.
Unannounced AAA CDPR game was mentioned off-handedly by Benchmark.pl, a Polish gaming-related website, who quoted CDPR saying that "plans for the release of the second AAA game until 2021 remain unchanged. We are currently focusing on the production and promotion of Cyberpunk, so we do not want to comment on further projects."
Furthermore, according to that very same source, both the unannounced AAA RPG and Cyberpunk 2077 are set to come out sometime before 2021, which is quite curious indeed.
There's been absolutely no word on what sort of unannounced project might CDPR we working, but we do know that it's fairly unlikely to be Witcher-related. The company apparently also has plans to have more than double the current amount of employees within the next three years, which paints a productive picture of the company, all in all.
We'll see what comes of all this, but one thing's for sure - CDPR has got lots more to show than we've seen so far.
