After three years, Days of War, the World War II online first-person shooter developed by Driven Arts and published by Grafitti Games, has finally exited Steam Early Access.
Harkening back to genre classics such as Day of Defeat: Source, the title brings together tight maps, intense action and a lethal arsenal of iconic World War II guns. You can get a better taste of them in our Days of War gameplay video below.
Days of War Gameplay Video
A team-based first-person shooter at heart, Days of War’s full version features twelve maps, the Domination game mode and six classes: rifleman, assault, support, sniper, machine gunner and rocket.
Days of War’s four factions – the American, British, Russian and German armies – each come with their own distinct weapons which include the likes of the M1 Garand, Bren, PPSh-41, MG 42 and more. These, alongside a collection of sprays, can be unlocked through the game’s progression system.
Up to 32 players can go against each other at any given time, Days of War also featuring bot support to keep servers full as players leave and join matches.
There’s also a fair bit of gore, so don’t be surprised if your friends’ limbs pay you an unexpected grenade-fueled visit while you’re waiting for the enemy.
