When will DayZ patch 1.08 release? How long until the title’s next big batch of changes and fixes? These are questions that the survival title’s community has been asking since February, when patch 1.07 launched.

DayZ Patch 1.08
DayZ’s patch 1.08 has gone for quite a while without a release date. Previously, in April, Project Lead Adam Franců tweeted the following, when asked about a potential DayZ patch 1.08 release date: “We do not announce when an update is coming out until we go through submissions etc. Bug fixing is ongoing and top priority for this year.”.
However, we now know that Day Z update 1.08’s release date is slated for Tuesday, June 30, as per the tweet below:

The #DayZ update 1.08 will be released tomorrow in the afternoon hours (CEST) on all platforms (PS4, Xbox and PC). You can expect no wipes of the official servers (wipes are recommended only for modded servers).

An experimental build of DayZ’s patch 1.08 was previously released. Anyone interested can test its changes on the game’s experimental servers.
