Dead By Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive has released a new design preview featuring a rework for the Trickster Killer.
Additionally, the developer has detailed plans regarding future design previews and how rebalances will work.
In a new blog post, Behaviour Interactive acknowledged that it would use future blog posts to detail how it’s using community feedback, a lesson learned following a design preview previously posted last year. The post then details how the process would change:
“Each Design Preview will use a short survey (5 mins max) to collect your feedback, ensuring we have context behind your suggestions (i.e. experience level, playstyle).”
“Within two weeks of each Design Preview, we’ll share an early look at some interesting points we’ve drawn from your feedback, while also giving an idea of how we plan to use it.”
All around, it sounds like Behaviour is planning on using player feedback for future reworks in Dead By Daylight. It’s currently focused on a rework for the Trickster killer, as well as presenting new ideas for the Skull Merchant.
The Trickster rework hasn’t received any proper details yet, but Behaviour writes that “there’s an opportunity to lean into his theming to offer gameplay changes that reward Trickster mains while also providing something exciting and new for folks who have been on the fence about giving him a try.”
The following design preview from Behaviour will be published in the coming days and will outline a new vision for the Skull Merchant.
