Destiny 2 has entered the Season 8 of its existence with Shadowkeep, and PvP-focused players are already eager to jump into the fray with the upcoming Iron Banner.
This exciting PvP event comes back periodically, and with the first Iron Banner date already made available, we’ve got a pretty good idea of what Season 8 Iron Banner schedule will look like for quite some time. Find everything we know about it just below.
Destiny 2 Season 8 Iron Banner Schedule
The very first Iron Banner of Season 8 is slated to hit on the 15th of October, putting it smack-dab in the middle of the month. This periodical event is one of the PvP mainstays of Destiny, and always has been, which means we can predict a somewhat reliable schedule for it.
So far, Iron Banner has usually appeared once a month, and it has then been available for all players to enjoy for a full week. This should provide ample opportunity for you to unlock this season’s rather neat Iron Will armour, if nothing else. Iron Banner also boosts Crucible rating gains, and may even bring new weapons, if Bungie’s been working on them.
As for the scheduling, the exact dates may well change, but chances are that Iron Banner will continue to drop around the 15th each month during Season 8.
Since there’s no cross-platform play, there will be no mingling of players this time around, either, but this does give you a chance to earn the Crucible Ritual Scout Rifle - Randy’s Throwing Knife.
In other Destiny 2 news, did you know that GDQ will host a Last Wish speedrunning attempt in 2020? Something to keep in mind, for sure.
