Why are the Destiny 2 servers down for Maintenance? If you haven't been keeping track of the game's weekly reset schedule, the maintenance may sound concerning. What is the current Server Status? Are Bungie currently working on getting it back online?
Some of the errors you might've come across while attempting to play Destiny 2 are Destiny 2 Marionberry, Destiny 2 Weasel, and Destiny 2 Banjo. These signify connectivity problems. So, is Destiny 2 down for maintenance? And if so, why? We've got the answers below.
Destiny 2 Maintenance
Destiny 2 was taken down for emergency maintenance, following multiple error reports, but is now back online. If you previously encountered issues connecting to the game, it's well worth trying to do so again.
"Issues causing Destiny 2 players to experience elevated error codes WEASEL, RABBIT and PORPOISE have subsided. We are continuing to investigate issues causing Destiny 2 players to receive error code BAT," reads a recent tweet from developer Bungie.
As far as Destiny 2's server status goes, we've got you covered, but you can also keep track of the Bungie Help Twitter, as news of maintenance and downtime is also shared there.
