Destiny 2's new Seasonal update brought with it a whole new raid - Crown of Sorrow - which takes players on yet another trawl acros the insanely large Leviathan vessel. One of the rewards for completing Crown of Sorrow is the Tarrabah SMG, which is quite unique.
The Destiny 2 Tarrabah is a curious-looking Solar-loaded Primary weapon released as part of Season 7, and it comes with a damage-storing perk that could, potentially, greatly alter your gameplay preferences.
Destiny 2 Tarrabah SMG
Putting aside the fact that the Tarrabah is very neat-looking indeed, this weapon's engravings actually have a functional gameplay purpose to boot. The Tarrabah SMG stores all of the damage you take while wielding it - courtesy of its Ravenous Beast perk - and once it's full, with its engravings glowing red-hot orange, you can hold the 'reload' button to trigger the weapon's perk ability.
This will greatly boost all of Tarrabah's stats for a short while, including its reload speed, which will in turn allow you to dish out a truly impressive amount of damage-per-second. Furthermore, Tarrabah's second perk - Bottomless Appetite - says that dealing continuous damage extends the duration of Ravenous Beast.
To call the Tarrabah powerful might be an understatement, you see. How the weapon fits into the current meta remains to be seen, but if this doesn't nudge you into completing Crown of Sorrow, nothing will.
