Diablo 3’s Season 31 is the second post-launch offering that focuses on bringing past themes into the spotlight between its start and end dates, allowing us to relive some of our best moments with Blizzard’s older action-RPG.
The shift away from new features happened as Diablo 4’s live service began establishing itself, but even so, Diablo 3’s Season 31 start and end dates should provide plenty of fun for players who might want to take a break from the latest entry in the series.

Diablo 3 Season 31 Theme
Diablo 3’s Season 31 theme allows us to harness the power of the Forbidden Archives as it was first introduced in Season 20.
For the next couple of months, restrictions will be lifted from the Kanai’s Cube slots that allow us to equip three additional Legendary powers. This means that we can mix and match between their available categories, granting additional flexibility in terms of designing our builds.
Diablo 3 Season 31 Cosmetic Rewards
Regarding cosmetic rewards, we can obtain the helm and shoulders slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set and a series of portrait frames that “embody the snowy, foreboding aura of the Eternal Woods.”
The Dream of Piers pet is also available alongside the new Valor Portrait Frame and Angelic Treasure Goblin pet. These latter two rewards can be obtained by completing the Season Journey in its entirety.
Diablo 3 Season 31 Journey Rewards
Like its past counterparts, Diablo 3’s Season 31 gives players who have yet to unlock five stash tabs via the Season Journey another chance to expand their available storage space. Check out the list of the latest set of Season Journey objectives:
- Guardian of Sanctuary: Finish a level 70 Nephalem Rift on Torment XIII within five minutes.
- Gem of My Life: Level three Legendary Gems to level 55.
- All I Do IS Win: Complete two Conquests this Season.
- Kill You: Kill Ghom at level 70 in under 30 seconds on Torment XIII difficulty.
- Money Ain’t A Thang: Slay Greed on Torment XIII difficulty.
- Take U There: Reach Greater Rift level 60 Solo.
- Power Amplification: Use Kanai’s Cube to augment an Ancient Legendary item with a level 50+ gem.
- Cubic Reconfiguration: Use Kanai’s Cube to reforge a Legendary item.
Diablo 3 Season 31 Seasonal Conquest
Players aiming to secure a high spot on the leaderboards for themselves have the following Seasonal Conquests to look forward to as they uncover the secrets of the Forbidden Archives.
As their names suggest, Sprinter/Speed Racer are all about completing Diablo III’s campaign from Act I all the way to Act V at level 70 in less than one hour.
Avarice/Avaritia tasks us with reaching a 50 million gold streak outside of The Vault or its Inner Sanctum.
On a Good Day/I Can’t Stop can be completed by leveling three Legendary Gems to level 65.
From there, everyone who reaches Greater Rift level 75 nabs the Divinity/Lionhearted Seasonal Conquest.
Lastly, The Thrill/Superhuman challenges us with completing a Greater Rift level 45 in solo mode and without equipping any set items.
Diablo 3 Season 31 Haedrig’s Gift
