Publisher Private Division and developer V1 Interactive have announced both a closed and open beta for upcoming first-person shooter Disintegration, their start and end dates being slated for the end of the month.
The purpose of Disintegration’s closed multiplayer technical beta and open beta is to “ensure stability and collect feedback ahead of when the game launches later this year”.
Disintegration Open Beta Start and End Date
Disintegration will first have two closed beta sessions taking place as follows, their times being subject to change:
- Tuesday, Jan 28, 2020 between 8 AM PT - 11:59 PM PT/4:00 PM - 7:59 AM (following day)
- Wednesday, Jan 29, 2020 between 8 AM PT - 11:59 PM PT/4:00 PM - 7:59 AM (following day)
Players can already register for the Disintegration closed beta by visiting its website.
Disintegration’s Open Beta starts not long after, on January 31, running through February 1. Both betas will be available on the PC, Xbox One and PS4, and will let players try out two of the three game modes planned for the game’s full release.
In the two-round Retrieval mode, one team attempts to deliver a payload which can only be carried by their ground soldiers while the other team aims to thwart them from reaching their goal.
Control, on the other hand, sees teams battling over capture points, keeping their ground crew within the zone being the sole way of earning score and winning the match.
Disintegration mixes first-person shooting with real-time tactics, players controlling Gravcycles that give them access to both deadly offensive and defensive weaponry but also the ability to command various ground squads.
Seven such crews will be available during the betas, including the Tech Noir, adept at boosting their damage, and the Warhedz, who have a knack for launching nukes.
