So, you’re trying to entice Remy from Disney’s Ratatouille to your Disney Dreamlight Valley village and he’s asked you to make his famous Ratatouille Recipe. When entering the Remy realm in the game through Remy’s door at Dream Castle, you’re tasked with collecting various ingredients and cooking a few meals. And up until you get to ratatouille, the recipes have been explained to you fairly straightforwardly.
The final big task to complete though is making ratatouille and for that, it’s pretty much left up to you to experiment and put together a ratatouille dish that will ultimately convince Remy to come and set up Chez Remy in the Valley and move his entire home to your village.
How to make Ratatouille in Disney Dreamlight Valley
If you’re tired of the guesswork (and Googling actual ratatouille recipes) then you’re in the right place for the recipe. Here it is:
- Basil
- Onion
- Eggplant
- Zucchini
- Tomato
Congratulations, you’ve made ratatouille and the five-star meal you’ve lovingly served was tasty enough to bring the friendly mouse chef back and re-open his restaurant. It’s worth noting here that you can’t head to Remy’s realm and bring back any of the ingredients there or dishes that you cook up. So, whilst it’s good for practising your culinary skills, the fun ends there.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Chez Remy Restaurant
For Chez Remy to open up in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll first need to place Remy’s house somewhere in your village. It’ll then cost you 2000 Star Coins from Scrooge McDuck’s sign to build it. After that, you’ll unlock the new Restaurant Makeover quest from Remy that will require you to purchase a furniture kit for another 2000 Star Coins and collect the following:
- Wheat x25
- Oregano x10
- Carrot x15
- Raspberry x15
Once Chez Remy is fully open, there are a variety of ingredients on offer that you can drop in and buy as well as a stove if you’re looking for a midpoint to cook that doesn’t require you to head back to your house.
These ingredients include:
- Cheese - 180 Star Coins
- Milk - 230 Star Coins
- Eggs - 220 Star Coins
- Butter - 190 Star Coins
- Peanut - 200 Star Coins
You’ll find these ingredients to be stalwarts in a lot of recipes you’ll be asked to make during your time in Disney Dreamlight Valley from quests to villager’s items of the day to meals served in Chez Remy, so it’s great if you can unlock these pronto and get cooking. Bon appetit!
