Divinity: Original Sin 2 offers a downright staggering amount of spell combos and interactions, and it can be pretty hard to keep track of things as the number of tools at your disposal increases. Here, we're going to take a look at how to revive characters after they've been killed.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Resurrection Spell is not particularly easy to get a hold of, but the good news is that it's not the only way for you to get a favourite character back on their feet. There's a catch here and there, of course, but that's just how it goes in a CRPG, no?
How to Revive Characters in Divinity: Original Sin 2?
Attempting to revive characters in Divinity: Original Sin 2 can be done in a few different ways, depending on which difficulty you're playing the game on. Story Mode, for example, automatically supplies you with a variant of the Resurrection Spell, thus allowing you to proceed without worrying too much about who gets through which fight, provided that you have at least one surviving team member by the time all is said and done.
On higher difficulties, however, your best bet will be to field a Necromancer character and invest in their Sacrifice skill, which deals pierce damage to the caster and revives a team member with 20% of their health. This skill can also be augmented through the use of Resurrection Scrolls you are sure to come across, while a certain item from Act 2 will further modify their usefulness.
What this means is that, unless you're playing the game on its easiest difficulty, you're going to have a bit of a hard time if you're not playing carefully. Then again, this is what you signed up for by choosing a more hardcore CRPG experience, so simply try your best and see how things go.
