Doom Eternal features plenty of unlockable skins that alter the Doom Slayer’s look. Some offer more drastic changes set him on fire, while others, like the Phobos skin, change his armor’s color scheme.
Obtaining Doom Eternal’s skins ofter requires you to do specific feats that, sometimes, involve going through the entire game again. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get the Doom Eternal Phobos skin.
Doom Eternal Phobos Skin
Doom Eternal’s Phobos skin is inspired by a physical Doom Slayer action figure, changing the armor’s color skin to gold.
In order to obtain the Doom Eternal Phobos Skin, you’ll have to complete the Running Up the High Score milestone, which involves completing the campaign with Extra Life Mode enable while having 10 Extra Lives in your inventory.
Doom Eternal’s Extra Life Mode is a difficulty modifier that basically changes things up so that players rely on extra lives for progress. Dying removes one extra life from your total.
Running out of extra lives and dying means that you have to go back to the beginning of the campaign.
Extra Life Mode is, however, applied over one of Doom Eternal’s four base difficulty levels, which makes for a rather flexible experience.
