DOTA 2’s Ogre Magi is the latest hero to receive their own Arcana, and it’s a fiery one. Alongside the new Arcana, players can also progress through the Frostivus rewards line and purchase extra Winter Treasures, as the popular MOBA’s seasonal celebrations continue.
The Flockheart’s Gamble Arcana gives Ogre Magi a Firelark mount alongside a makeover and model redesign that replaces the hero’s familiar blue hues with yellows and reds more in tune with their newfound mount.

“Lost, separated from her family, and saddled with the impossibly-stupid ogre responsible for it all, Flockheart the Firelark has no choice but to trust that the Goddess of Luck will help her survive the trials standing between her and a reunion with her flock. After all, it was the Goddess herself who tasked the Ogre Magi with standing watch over said flock in the first place. What the cluck was she thinking?”, reads the Ogre Magi Arcana’s description.
Alongside the Firelark and model redesigns, the Ogre Magi Arcana also introduces a Multicast Skill Streak which prompts an indicator to appear when players string together five successive Multicasts or more. Better yet, there’s no superior limit to the counter.
Stringing together Multicasts also counts towards unlocking the Resplendent Firelark, a second style for the Flockheart’s Gamble Arcana that calms the bird’s flames for a more arcane-inspired purple take on it and the hero’s look.
The new Ogre Magi Arcana naturally includes custom animations, effects, and hero assets. The entire package can be purchased for $34.99 USD, all purchases made before January 18, 2020 unlocking an Exalted version of the Arcana.
DOTA 2 also receives the Frostivus rewards line through which players can now progress. Here is the full list of goodies you can unlock:
