Dragon Age 4’s release date is a topic that’s been on players minds since its teaser trailer debuted during The Game Awards 2018.
It’s been almost six years since we’ve stepped foot on Thedas, making the wait for a Dragon Age 4 release date even harder for fans eager to learn more about Solas, who will likely be the focus of the fourth game.
The first details about a potential Dragon Age 4 release date came from an earnings call for EA’s Q2 2020, which revealed that we won’t be returning to Thedas any time soon.
Dragon Age 4 Release Date
“[…] you should assume that there is Dragon Age out there and we’ve talked about it publicly that it’s in the works, and it probably comes after fiscal ‘22”, EA’s Blake Jorgensen said during the earnings call.
This makes it likely that a Dragon Age 4 release date won’t be set at any point prior to April 2022, which is still a bit away.
In a recent Twitter post, Bioware Executive Produced Mark Darrah revealed that although working from home is harder, the studio is making progress on Dragon Age 4. Sadly, no details about a potential release date were shared.
I realize that most of you are here for Dragon Age news and there hasn't been a lot of that lately...

Let me just run down some things I an say:
1. We are working on the next Dragon Age
2. Yes we are working from home
3. Working from home is harder
4. We are making progress
We’ll be on the lookout for any new information regarding a potential Dragon Age 4 release date and update this article as we learn more.
In the meantime, here’s what we thought about Dragon Age: Inquisition when it launched back in 2014.
