Dying Light 2’s open world is vast and, although Aiden is both nimble and gets access to an awesome paraglider, you may still want to fast travel when your objectives are far away. To do so, you’ll need to find metro station locations across Villedor, but there’s a catch.
Dying Light 2 doesn’t let you fast travel right from the start. Once you get past its introductory sequence, Old Villedor isn’t necessarily small, but crossing it on foot lets you familiarize yourself with the game’s movement and parkour system. To get access to metro station locations, you’ll need to progress enough through the main story until you unlock your first.
There are a total of 10 metro station locations in Dying Light 2, as shown in the images above. Two of them are unlocked during the main story, but the other eight you’ll have to discover and activate yourself. When you find them, they’ll be unpowered.
To get them going again, you’ll need to venture inside, battle or run past enemies, after which you’ll need to activate a number of generators, which involves parkour puzzles of varying difficulty. Here are the districts where you’ll find them:
Old Villedor Metro Stations
- Trinity
- Quarry End
- Houndfield
Central Loop Metro Stations
- Downtown
- The Wharf
- Muddy Grounds
- Saint Paul Island
- Garrison
- New Dawn Park
- Lower Dam Ayre
Once you’ve activated all the generators in one metro station, you’ll not only be able to fast travel to it from the map by hovering your mouse cursor over its icon and holding the F key, but you’ll also have a shelter and stash there.
