Publisher Kalypso Media has kicked off its series of E3 2019 announcements by revealing HD Remasters for Pyro Studios titles Commandos 2 and Praetorians.
Both HD remasters are expected to launch on PC, Xbox One and PS4 in Q4 2019, with Commandos 2 - HD Remaster also making its way to the Nintendo Switch, Mac, Linux, iPad and Android tablets,

Developer Yippee Entertainment will handle Commandos 2 - HD Remaster, while Praetorians - HD Remaster finds itself in the hands of Torus Games. Both remasters will include updated graphics and enhanced controls that should make for a smooth experience on modern machines.
To anyone unaware Commandos 2 - HD Remaster is a real-time tactics title which takes players back to World War 2, focusing on a group of elite commandos operating deep behind enemy lines. Each playable commando excels in particular areas of warfare or subterfuge, combining their skills being vital for both their survival and the success of the mission. Patience and carefully exploiting points of weakness in the enemy’s defense are favored over an all guns blazing approach, which is sure to spell doom.
Praetorians - HD Remasters is a real-time strategy game which takes players even further back, focusing on an emerging Roman Empire. Its classic RTS gameplay will see you learning about the strenghts and weaknesses of different troop types as you do battle across Egypt, Gaul and Italy.
