Publisher and developer Frontier Developments today revealed Elite Dangerous: Odyssey as the next DLC for its popular space sim.
Elite Dangerous: Odyssey will let players step out of their ships and explore planets while on foot for the first time. Aside from peaceful exploration, players can also engage in first-person combat while on foot.

One Giant Leap

- Social hubs spread throughout the galaxy give Commanders the ideal place to plan their next move. Form alliances, procure services, and even find expert support in highly coveted Engineers. These public outposts also help you acquire and upgrade weapons and gear to perfect your playing style.

Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is currently slated for an Early 2021 release window. More details on how it plans to enhance the space sim will be shared over the next months.
