Endless Dungeon brings us an action-packed rogue-lite experience that borrows elements from twin-stick shooters and tower defense in its quest for perpetual replayability. If you plan on delving into the depths of the station alongside a couple of pals, you may want to know if crossplay is planned for launch.
Endless Dungeon cross-platform support would be a boon for anyone looking to brave enemy waves alongside fellow human players. Although the title does feature a solo mode, it plays quite differently from its online counterpart, and not just because of the lack of the social element.
Endless Dungeon Crossplay Support
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Endless Dungeon crossplay support is planned for launch. The title’s Steam page does not mention the feature, so there is a very good chance that we’ll have to rely on allies using the same platform if we plan to hop online at launch.

There is also official word regarding the lack of Endless Dungeon cross-platform support at release.
“For the moment, there won’t be a crossplay between different consoles (you can do pc-egs, ps4-ps5, xbos series),” reads a January 2023 Steam post from a member of the development team. “I prefer not to promise if in the future we will be able to implement it or not.”
By the sound of it, we might go a good while without the feature being fully implemented, so it would be wise to plan ahead and make sure that your squad purchases the title on the same platform.
Having limited cross-storefront and cross-generation capabilities certainly helps, but isn’t quite what some players were hoping for.
Whether or not Endless Dungeon cross-platform support will make its way into the game at a later date remains to be seen. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it will happen, since its twin-stick shooter shenanigans are best experienced alongside other players.
