Amplitude Studios and Hooded Horse have announced that the upcoming Grand Strategy game Endless Legend 2 will be hitting Steam Early Access in Summer 2025.
It’s been over a decade since the original Endless Legend was released, and fans eagerly await the latest entry to the Endless series. From the glimpses we’ve had of the game so far, it looks like the sequel is shaping up to innovate heavily on the original.
The official description for the game reads:
“Welcome to Saiadha, a doomed oceanic paradise full of wonders and dangers. In the heart of the award-winning ENDLESS™ Universe, explore this new planet battered by shifting seasons and monstruous tidefalls that radically transform the world, forcing you to anticipate and adapt. Explore further, face ancient perils and new threats, and unravel the unfathomable secret that lies at the planet’s core.
“Within cataclysms lie opportunities, within tidefalls lie dangers; be the one to emerge victorious, be the one to turn the tide.”
As shown on the Triple-I Initiative showcase, Endless Legend 2 is planned for an Early Access release sometime in the summer. The Early Access release will feature the Kin of Sheredyn and Aspects factions, with more due to be revealed over the coming months.
Each faction has its own unique traits, units, and mechanics, which means using the same strategy across multiple empires won’t always work. The game instead encourages learning each faction’s strengths and weaknesses as you go.
For anyone wanting to get an early hands-on, Amplitude is also running an Insiders Program where players can sign up for beta testing and provide feedback.
Endless Legend 2 will launch on PC via Steam Early Access later this Summer.
