Epic Games today offered a look at the Epic Game Store’s performance since its launch over a year ago on December 6, 2018, revealing that player spending has reached $680 million.
The Epic Games Store has registered $108 million customers during this period, its offering of free games arguably playing a role. To that extent, the free games program will go on throughout 2020.
Epic Games Store Player Spending, Performance, Free Games
Since launch, the Epic Games Store has given users the chance of redeeming a total of 73 free titles and will continue to treat players to weekly free games in 2020. In total, more than 200 million free game copies were claimed.
The biggest chunk of active players on the Epic Games Store comes from the United States (17,24%), followed by Russia (10.15%) and China (8.36%).
Epic Game Store exclusives like World War Z, Satisfactory, Borderlands 3, Metro Exodus and Untitled Goose Game top the list of most popular titles on the storefront, among others.
