Escape from Tarkov's Red Keycard is one item that many players wish to find, given how it can lead them to cool loot. Finding it, however, is easier said than done, at least without knowing where to look.
Here are the locations which you should check out when hunting for Escape from Tarkov's coveted Red Keycard.
Escape from Tarkov Red Keycard
Although it opens a door found on the Lab map, the Red Keycard can only be found on Escape from Tarkov's Shipyard map.
That being said, it's a notoriously rare item, so you might need to spend a decent chunk of time looking for it before you actually get to see one.
One potential Red Keycard spawn can be found by entering the building from the east side. Head to the second floor, then look for room 218. Go to the balcony and use it to get into the adjacent room 221. If you're lucky enough, you should see the Red Keycard next to the laptop on the table.
The Red Keycard can also spawn on the west side of the building. You can potentially find it in room 203, on the floor, in front of the nightstand that's near the bed.
Room 218 also has a chance to get you Escape from Tarkov's Red Keycard. If it spawned, you'll see it on top of the blue water barrel inside.
While you're in the western part of the building, it's also worth checking the basement gym. Use the stairs, then check inside the locker, especially the ones on the left side.
Escape from Tarkov's Red Keycard is sought after because using it can get you various weapon mods, ammo, MP5 and M4A1 weapons, as well as a M4A1 SOPMOD II, among other things.
Escape from Tarkov is currently available in beta on PC, through its own launcher.
