Europa Universalis IV already has a healthy collection of paid DLC that you can spend many hours building the empire of your dreams, but the base game is going to get an upgrade with four essential DLCs for free on the 17th of October.
Rights of Man, Art of War, Digital Extreme Upgrade, and Common Sense will all be added to the base game. These will be available to everyone who owns Europa Universalis IV.
Europa Universalis IV is currently discounted on Steam priced at £8.39, 76% off, so you can buy it from today or anytime leading up to the 17th October and then use them when these DLC packs become available.
The Starter Edition of Europa Universalis IV is going to be updated to include different DLCs, and the Ultimate Bundle will be discounted going forward.
If you’re playing through the campaign currently, we should warn you that if you don’t own any of the four DLCs, your current save game file may break once the change is made on the 17th of October.
Project Caesar has been talked about recently, with Paradox giving updates on its development via developer diaries but not saying what it actually is yet. Could this be a signal that we may soon learn more about Europa Universalis 5? We certainly hope so…
