Evil Genius 2: World Domination Steam Release Date
While no specific release date was revealed during its announcement, we do know that, currently, Evil Genius 2: World Domination is aiming for a 2020 release; and, yes, it is coming to Steam.
Evil Genius 2: World Domination Gameplay Details
Described as a “satirical spy-fi lair builder”, Evil Genius 2: World Domination tasks players with a number of things, chief of which is the building and overseeing of a villain’s lair. What for, you ask? It’s in the title: world domination! The game will let players choose an island and build away. Your lair not only needs to be able to train and support your army of evil minions, but it also needs to act as defense against the pesky Forces of Justice.
Henchmen are specialist followers that act as your most trusted men, while a good old trap or ten can work wonders against would-be heroes. The trailer, albeit not in-game footage, featured two classics –a complex array of lasers alongside a trap door leading to a tank inhabited by a shark– but there will be more traps to choose from, like the Pinball Bumper of Venus Spy Trap. On the way towards building a Doomsday Device and dominating the world, you’ll also find opportunities to sell the British Royal Family, kidnap the Governor of Maine, and literally Bake Alaska. Never a dull day when you’re evil.
