Bethesda has kicked off the Bombs Drop day festivities in Fallout 76 and outside of it, giving players discounts, in-game events and more.
Marking the in-universe date that started it all, the Bombs Drop event is a good moment to complete your Fallout collection, as every game in the series is currently part of a sale that lasts until October 27.
Fallout 76 itself is discounted by 60% for the duration of the Bombs Drop event, just like its in-game Atoms currency, its bundles being up to 35% cheaper. You can also grab other games in the series for less than $10 or your regional equivalent.
Fallout 76 Bomb Drops Day Event
The Fallout 76 Bomb Drops Day event also makes the game free-to-play until next week, giving anyone who hasn’t tried it out yet a chance to do so.
The free-to-play version of Fallout 76 includes all the content in the base game, Wastelanders update, the Nuclear Winter battle royale mode, and features added in free post-launch updates, such as dynamic leveling.
Players will be treated to a double XP and S.C.O.R.E weekend. Purveyor Murmrgh, found at the Rusty Pick, also takes 25% off the usual Legendary weapons and armor price.
As part of the Fallout 76 Bomb Drops Day event, players will also be able to sample the Fallout 1st subscription for free between October 20 and October 26.
The free Fallout 1st Limited Preview item in the Atomic Shop grants access to the Scrapbox that adds the benefit of unlimited storage for crafting components.
You can also try out the Survival Tent which acts as a “fast travel point with a Stash, Sleeping Bag, Scrapbox, Instrument and Cooking Station” in one.
Previewing the subscription will also get you the Mechanic’s Wallpaper and Mechanic’s Floor and Foundation. Like anything you place in the Scrapbox, these will remain yours after the preview period ends.
You can read more about the Fallout 76 Bomb Drops Day event in the post on the game’s website. In other Bethesda-related news, the publisher’s parent company was purchased by Xbox a month ago.
