Between now and Monday, October 26, anyone who’s yet to hop into Fallout 76 can play for free and see for themselves how Appalachia feels with its most recent additions.
These include the One Wasteland update which added dynamic level scaling to enemies, the Daily Ops system and more.
Fallout 76 Free-to-Play October 2020
All of your Fallout 76 free-to-play week progress will carry over should you decide to purchase the game, which is discounted by 60% until October 27.
The celebrations also include a Double XP weekend and a trial for the Fallout 1st subscription service.
Bombs Drop day is the name given to the date of October 23, 2077, when the in-universe Great War started.
Lasting a whole 2 hours, it saw the US and China deploying their nuclear arsenals, leading to the devastation portrayed across all Fallout games.
In other news, Xbox has acquired Bethesda’s parent company, Zenimax Media, taking all of the publisher’s IPs under its umbrella.
Fallout 76 is out now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
